Philosophical Aspects of Criminal Law

I am pleased to announce that on 14 November 2018 I took part in the Polish Scientific Conference "Philosophical Aspects of Criminal Law: Great Names in the Science of Philosophy and Criminal Law in the 20th and 21st century" organized by the Scientific Circle of Material Criminal Law operating at Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw.

The main goal of the conference was to create a unique space for reflection on the philosophy of criminal law and the interaction between philosophy and criminal law. During the conference, philosophical and legal issues of such thinkers as, among others, were discussed: Douglas Husak, Ingeborg Puppe, Leon Petrażycki and Juliusz Makarewicz.

I presented a speech entitled "Enlightenment Humanitarianism and personalistic philosophy in criminal law - Cesare Beccaria and Karol Wojtyła"
